Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is excited to announce our first-ever Scholarship Contest. Now through November 1, 2024 student athletes are invited to participate for a change to win one of the following scholarships:
Eligible candidates must be a legal resident of Deer Park, Syosset, East Meadow, or Massapequa who are enrolled in a high school or college/university and between the ages of 17-25.
Ready to enter? follow the steps below for your chance to win:
- To enter, participants must create a public video showcasing their sports-related talents while wearing branded school-related attire.
- The video must include a brief introduction stating, “My name is [Participant’s Name] and I am participating in the scholarship challenge from Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.”
- Participants must tag Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and use the hashtag #TotalOrthoChallenge in their public video post and complete the official contest entry form on the Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine website.
- Each participant may only submit one entry.

CONTEST RULES
Eligibility:
• The Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Scholarship Contest is open to legal residents of Deer Park, Syosset, East Meadow, or Massapequa who are enrolled in a high school or college/university.
• Participants must be between 17-25 years old at the time of entry.
• Employees of Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
How to Enter:
• To enter, participants must create a video showcasing their sports-related talents while wearing branded school-related attire.
• The video must include a brief introduction stating, “My name is [Participant’s Name] and I am participating in the scholarship challenge from Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.”
• Participants must tag Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and use the hashtag #TotalOrthoChallenge in their public video post and complete the official contest entry form on the Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine website.

Submission Period:
• The Contest opens on [Start Date TBD] and closes on November 1, 2024.

Selection of Winners:
• Winners will be selected by an internal committee based on submissions with the highest engagement and views.
• The decision of the committee is final and binding.
Prizes:
• The first-place winner will receive a scholarship of $10,000.
• The second-place winner will receive a scholarship of $1,000.
• The third-place winner will receive a scholarship of $500.
Winner Announcement:
• The winners will be announced on November 15, 2024 on the Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine website and social media channels.
• Winners will be notified via direct message, email and/or phone.
Publicity:
• By entering the Contest, participants grant Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine the right to use their names, likenesses, and videos for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
General Conditions:
• Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these rules or is contrary to the spirit of the Contest.
• Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time for any reason.
Release and Limitations of Liability:
• By participating in the Contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
Governing Law:
• The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
